Natural Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser
|200ml RRP $33.00|
I have been absolutely LOVING this cleanser. It is jam-packed full of great ingredients such as kiwifruit, manuka honey, hibiscus flower and Vinanza grape which work together to thoroughly cleanse my skin.
I have found that my skin is left feeling clean and smooth and over the last few weeks I have definitely noticed the brightening effects this cleanser claims to have. My skin tone is more even and I am suffering from fewer blemishes.
The combination of manuka honey, which has antibacterial powers and Vinanza grape, which is packed full of antioxidants, helps to balance oil production in my skin.
I use this with my Clarisonic Mia every night and it has been working a treat.
The green apple and cardamom scent is also a lovely feature.
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream
|60ml RRP $56.00|
I have been using this night cream in conjunction with the cleanser and I am enjoying the results.
According to the Antipodes website, the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream is 'scientifically shown to stimulate optimum synthesis of collagen production in human fibroblast skin cells by up to 92%'.
To be honest, I don't really know what that means exactly, but it sure sounds promising!
Just like the cleanser, this cream also contains Manuka honey and Vinanza grape, but the hero ingredient is the 100% avocado oil. Avocado oil works to restore the skin and provide much-needed moisture. Another lovely ingredient is calendula oil from marigold petals which works to heal the skin.
I find that I only need to use this every second or third night as it is quite rich and I don't have super-dry skin. Those with more dry skin could definitely use this every day. My skin really drinks up the moisture that this cream provides and helps keen any flaky patches at bay.
I'm loving this combo of products and will continue to use them during these cool months.
