Halle Berry - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

One of the best dressed women at the 83rd Academy Awards had to be the eternally gorgeous Halle Berry.

The flawless 44 year old looked absolutely stunning in a divine Marchesa creation.

I love the crystal embellishments on the gown and the frou-frou style of the lower half of the dress.

The amazing dress, combined with my fav hair look on Halle (I can't stand seeing her with long hair!), sees Ms Berry's look get an A+.

This is one of my favourite looks of the night.

Gwyneth Paltrow - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Gwyneth Paltrow shimmered in a Calvin Klein Collection frock and a Louis Vuitton ring at the 83rd Academy Awards today in Los Angeles.

Paltrow kept her hair and make-up simple yet sexy, allowing her dress to really shine.

I'm not sure about the brooch on her hip, I just don't think it's necessary. What do you guys think?

Reese Witherspoon - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Ever since Legally Blonde, Reese Witherspoon has been my favourite actress. 10 years on and nothing's changed!

The Oscar winner and bride to be looked fab in a slimline black and white Armani Prive number at the 83rd Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

Reese stuck to her southern gal roots with big hair and a smile from ear to ear. Beautifully accessorised with Neil Lane jewels, Witherspoon looked every inch America's sweetheart.

As long as she keeps her hair blonde, she'll always be Elle Woods to me!

Hilary Swank - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Hilary Swank looked simply stunning in Gucci at the 83rd Academy Awards in Los Angeles today.

I am loving the gorgeous embellishment on the top half of the gown and especially the colour! It's different to the usual and expected champagne/nude colours we often see with this sort of crystal beading. The ombre effect towards the bottom of the dress gives it a funky lift, whilst remaining glamourous.

I must say, I'm not always a fan of feathered dresses, but Ms Swank has done it right!

Mila Kunis - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

One of my favourite actresses of the moment and Oscar nominee, Mila Kunis rocked the red carpet at the 83rd Academy Awards today in Los Angeles.

The Ukranian beauty looked divine in a lilac Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, Neil Lane jewellery and a Bottega Veneta clutch.

I adore Mila's look. I think she is incredibly beautiful, without being conventional. Her hair, make-up and accessories are perfect with the pretty pastel tone of the dress. LOVE!

Natalie Portman - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Natalie Portman was pretty in plum on the red carpet at the 83rd Academy Awards today in Los Angeles.

The beautiful actress and mama to be wore a gorgeous Rodarte gown with Jimmy Choo heels.

Nat is simply glowing, and is a shoe-in for the Oscar!

Sandra Bullock - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Last year's Best Actress Oscar winner, Sandra Bullock, wore a gorgeous ruby red gown at the 2011 Oscars.

The stunning star wore Vera Wang and, in my opinion, looked better than ever! I like her simple accessories and hair, they really let the dress shine.

What do you think of Sandra's red carpet look?

Camila Alves - 2011 Oscars Red Carpet

Matthew McConaughey's babymama, Camila Alves walked the red carpet at the 83rd Academy Awards, held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles today.

With McConaughey decked out in Dolce & Gabbana, the lovely Alves looked absolutely stunning in a Kaufman Franco gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

I really love this dress. It's sexy, without being too over the top and is matched with lovely diamond jewels. I'm glad Camila had the sense to keep it simple with a sleek updo, as keeping her hair out would have been distracting.

Overall, this is one well-dressed couple!

Australis Colour Inject Lipstick Range - 10 New Shades For 2011

One of my favourite Aussie make-up brands, Australis have boosted their already impressive collection with 10 new shades of their Colour Inject lipsticks.

Joining Can Can, Cha Cha, Flamenco, Foxtrot, Jive, Mambo, Salsa, Tango and Waltz are
  • Ballet
  • Boogie Woogie
  • Charleston
  • Honkey Tonk
  • Jitterbug
  • Macarena
  • Quickstep
  • Twist
  • as well as two Limited Edition colours.
I was lucky enough to receive five of the new colours to try.

L-R: Jitterbug, Macarena, Ballet, Charleston & Twist
The Colour Inject formula includes Vitamin C, which soothes and boosts collagen formation, Vitamin E, which moisturises and nourishes as well as UV filters and an SPF of 15, protecting the lips from damaging rays.

From first swipe, I knew I would fall in love with these lipsticks. My first thought before trialling them would be that they would highlight my dry lips (I just flew in to Sydney from L.A. today. I hate dry plane air!). However, not only were the lipsticks moisturising and soothing, they actually covered the little flakes I have at the moment.

Here are some photos of each colour to give you a better idea.

Ballet

Charleston
Macarena

Jitterbug

Twist
I know I'll be wearing these all the time. I can generally tell straight away if I am going to like a lipstick or not, and so far, I am loving them!

The range is available at Big W, KMART, Priceline, Target and selected pharmacies now with a RRP of $12.95.

Backstage Styling Secrets From 2011 New York Fashion Week - DKNY

DKNY's Fall 2011 Collection hit the catwalk at New York Fashion Week this month with an obvious '60s mod flare.

On hand to create the hair looks to complement the black, white and red palette was the Global Creative Director of Wella Professionals, Eugene Souleiman.

"I wanted to create a look that started off with the perfect blow-dry but then evolved to a more thoughtful, contemporary finish. I was inspired by the 'rock star girlfriend' look of the late '60s, a look that is still much coveted today." Souleiman wanted to create an imperfect, lived-in look and did so using Wella products.

Souleiman blow-dried the models' hair using Wella Professionals High Hair Crystal Styler Blow-dry Lotion (RRP $23.50) and a round brush, then divided sections of the crown into velcro rollers. Once taken out, the hair is left volumous and smooth. To finish the look, Souleiman spritzed the hair with Wella Professionals High Hair Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray (RRP $23.50).

The end result is gorgeous and relaxed, with a rock 'n' roll feel, something I will definitely be trying at home for myself!

Miley Cyrus Covers US Marie Claire's March 2011 Issue

I had to do a double take once I saw the cover of the current US Marie Claire, on news stands now. I immediately thought it was Ashley Olsen and told myself to remember to buy it at the airport the next day as I love the Olsens...

The next day at the airport I realised it was in fact, not an Olsen. But an equally young, rich and gorgeous superstar by the name of Miley Cyrus.

There has not been a whole lot of talk about how these two (or three, I suppose) look alike, but I can tell you, since the magazine came out, I've been getting hundreds of hits on a post I did about nine months ago where I wondered if Mary-Kate was Miley in a picture. Albeit, the picture appears to be photoshopped. Click here to see what I'm talking about!

See what I mean? Anyway, I loved this photoshoot Miley did for Marie Claire, so I thought I would post the pics for you all.

Miley loved the Roberto Cavalli dress she wore in the shoot, she wore it to the 2011 Grammy's as well!

Are you a Miley fan or a hater? I would love to hear what you all think!

2011 Grammy Awards Red Carpet - Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian rocked a bronze Kaufman Franco gown to the 2011 Grammy Awards.

I think this gown was perfect for Kim. It hugs her curves in all the right places and is a nice change from all the skin-tight bandage style dresses she tends to wear.

Aside from the dress, I love a good nude peep toe pump. Who can do it better than Mr Christian Louboutin? LOVE!

Kim topped off her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery, which is a favourite amongst celebrities.

Looks like Kim K has gotten a few highlights!

The back-view isn't nearly as flattering!
