We were guests of Qantas at the event, which saw stars such as Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Brett Lee, Charlotte Dawson and Didier Cohen walk the black carpet at Hugo's in Sydney's Kings Cross.
The set-up at Hugo's was great. There was an open bar and plenty of food going around, (even for the vegos like me!) and the wait was shorter than expected for the famous sisters to arrive.
Kim and Khloe arrived with Khloe's husband Lamar and took the time to meet fans who had been lining up outside. They walked the carpet slowly, stopping to talk to all the media outlets. Not once did I see Kim smile, she looked really miserable and genuinely sad. I honestly thought she would burst into tears at any moment.
I've also never seen her so covered up.
The event was lots of fun, however I'm disappointed we didn't really hear anything about the handbag range. It would have been nice if the girls made a little speech or something but they just went into a roped off area of the bar after meeting fans and media.
Lamar was lovely and waved and winked at Marlo and I. Haha!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe Kim's outfit - she looked frumpy/totally unlike her usual self. Plus, it kinda irked me that she didn't smile at all... lol

ReplyDeleteAngela - Yes, I did get a spray tan! I go to a place in Bondi that has a California Tan booth. So quick and foolproof!
