This is just a quick post to thank all of you, my lovely readers, for all your support over the last 6-7 months.
This blog began as a simple hobby, and thanks to all of you, it has grown into something much bigger. Eventually, I would love the opportunity to be able to write full time. Until then, I will continue to see this blog as a labour or love, and will dedicate as much time as possible to it.
I will continue to post about things I love, including beauty, fashion, celebrities and film, among many other things. I hope you continue to enjoy my little blog as much as I enjoy writing it.
I love reading all your responses and emails, so keep em' coming!
I also just wanted to wish everyone a fabulous new years eve and an even greater 2011! Stay safe, merry, and of course, fabulous!
Angie

Styles I Love From My Favourite Musical Artists!
Well dear readers, summer is well and truly upon us, which to me means lazy weekend BBQ's and fun nights out with friends. Of course, neither of these would be as fun without a great soundtrack to accompany our summer nights! So, in that spirit, what better way to celebrate the season than to talk about some of the hottest music artists on the planet?
I was asked by the lovely people at the fab fashion site 2Threads who my favourite artists are and whose style I admire. I immediately thought of some of my favourite pop stars, whose style is very much an expression of their personality.
First up is Mrs Josh Duhamel, Fergie!
I die for these red carpet looks on Katy. Pure girlie glamour! Love it! In terms of my favorurite KP tunes, I would have to say that Firework is my go-to track for summer. I've been blasting it at the gym lately whilst hitting the treadmill, and I've run harder than I have in a long time. I swear it's this song!!
For those with a keen interest in music, head on over to Aletc Lansing's Facebook Page where you can find out all you need to know about the latest in audio innovation.

First up is Mrs Josh Duhamel, Fergie!
I've always been a fan of Fergie. Sure, her style can be questionable at times, but more often than not, she displays an edgy sex appeal that many of her contemporaries do not.
I love Fergie's music, both her solo efforts and her work as part of The Black Eyed Peas. Some notable hits that rank highly on my list of favourite party songs include London Bridge, I Gotta Feelin', My Humps, Lets Get It Started...the list goes on and on.
Some of my favourite Fergie looks have included pieces from my favourite jewellery brand, Samantha Wills. In the picture above, she is wearing the Made In Manhattan ring and the Blouson necklace in black.
I love that Fergie can rock a glam red carpet gown and also look fabulous in shorts and a cute jacket! Fab!
Next up is Bajan babe Rihanna. This sexy star is another artist whose songs are on high rotation on my iPod. Her recent hits Only Girl In The World and What's My Name, feat. Drake have definitely gotten me up on my feet dancing. Please Don't Stop The Music, however, will forever be one of my favourite RiRi songs. It is perfect for both the gym and the dancefloor!
Rihanna's style is constantly evolving, which I love. Although she mixes it up a lot, she always lets her loud personality shine through. Go girl! She is also a fan of Samantha Wills, as evidenced by the picture above.

I love bold accent pieces such as this fuschia blazer...amazing!
Rihanna's bestie Katy Perry also has a knack for out-there dressing, most of which I would not be caught dead in. However, it certainly takes a lot of guts to rock a range of colourful latex dresses like she does, and for that, I must applaud her.
Katy does however have her pretty fashion moments.
I also love California Girls, and of course Teenage Dream. I don't think there is anyone who cannot relate to that song! Well, maybe pre-adolescents...
Last but certainly not least, is country cutie and Jake Gyllenhaal's other half, Taylor Swift. Swifty certainly knows how to create a princess moment with her red carpet looks. Stunning.
She can also play it low-key yet chic for daytime.
My fave tracks from Taylor are countless. Lately I've been blasting Speak Now and loving every song! While her music may not be reserved for a night out, it is perfect for chilling out to with your girlfriends.
So there you have it, some of my favourite artists and their music and style.
Are there any artists whose style you love?
For more style inspiration, head to 2Threads, which is the ultimate site for every fashion lover.
Who is as excited for summer parties and fashion as I am?

Love & Other Drugs - Sydney Premiere...I met Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway!
Oh what a night!
On Monday, 6th December, my friend Niki and I went along to the premiere of Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway's latest film, Love & Other Drugs.
Held at the Event Cinemas on George St in Sydney, Niki and I arrived in matching Tony Bianco wedges (different colours luckily - haha) and headed to the media desk. After signing in as members of the media, we were escorted to the already lively press line, where cameramen were busy setting up and reporters were getting themselves interview-ready.
After what seemed like an eternity, the local Aussie celebs started to arrive. I was lucky enough to chat to Packed To The Rafters stars Jessica McNamee and George Houvardas (aka Sammy & Carbo), Sydney's latest IT couple, former Miss Universe Australia entrant Laura Dundovic and NOVA host James Kerley, my old high school buddy, the beautiful Lara Bingle, as well as, yep, you guessed it, the incredibly handsome Jake Gyllenhaal and his Oscar de la Renta clad co-star, Anne Hathaway.
As I only had limited time with each star, the question of the night had to tie in with the theme of my blog. So I asked a few people what the most 'fabulous' thing in their life is...
Oh Lara, you crack me up! Lara Bingle and I went to high school together, so it was good to catch up on the night. What better way than to chat about a naked Jake Gyllenhaal? Haha. Lara told me she loves a good romantic comedy and looked forward to seeing Jake in the film. Lara went on to tell me about the gorgeous dress her friend, designer Dion Lee made for her.
I managed to speak to Jake for a total of around 2 minutes. It doesn't sound like much, but to be even given the opportunity to get up close and personal to him on the red carpet was a huge thrill for me. It was all a bit of a disaster really. I had my camera ready to film him answering a few questions about my blog, but then this happened....

With George Houvardas aka Carbo from Packed To The Rafters
I chatted with George Houvardas and the lovely Jess McNamee about life on and after Packed To The Rafters. Jess told me about the film she just wrapped in Toronto, Canada, and how she had to hunt for 3 weeks to find the Josh Goot dress she was wearing on the night. When I asked her what the most fab thing in her life is, she answered 'her family'. After answering she asked if that was too corny an answer, haha.
After joking around with George for a while, things got a little more serious when we spoke of the effect that Melissa's death on the show has affected Australia. He says the way her death played out seems to have knocked some sense into Australians in terms of phone use while driving. He also told me he's worried people are going to stop watching now that two of the hot girls have left the show! I told him not to worry as so many people love the character of Carbo, including my father. He seemed quite pleased to hear he was my Dad's favourite! George went on to say the most fabulous thing in his life is his profession, because getting to do a job he loves each day is a dream come true for him.
Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic and boyfriend NOVA host, James Kerley.
These two were just lovely to talk to. They told me how excited they were to see the film, and how they had heard it was supposed to be a real tear-jerker. James was worried that he forgot to bring the tissues with him, and Laura realised she wasn't wearing waterproof mascara when I asked if they were likely to cry! Laura told me the most fab thing in her life is her collection of bling, to which James agreed.

Anne Hathaway chatting away
Mmm Mmmm! Jake looking dapper in a gorgeous suit!
Anne's Oscar de la Renta frock. DIVINE!
Yes, I was this close to Jake Gyllenhaal!
So what started out as me attempting to film Jake as he spoke to me, turned out to be me just chatting with him after taking his picture. But that's ok. I told him about my blog and how it is about my love for all things fabulous, including him! He told me the most fabulous thing in his life is his dog. Awwww, could he possibly get any cuter? (I was secretly happy he didnt say Taylor Swift though, haha)
Jake was absolutely gorgeous and very lovable and happy to talk to everyone he could.
Until the next big premiere...

WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes - The Perfect Make-Up Removing, Skin Soothing Wipe!
When I was first asked to trial WOTNOT's Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes for Sensitive Skin, I was super excited. I am always on the hunt for the perfect make-up remover wipe that is gentle on the skin and doesn't leave that icky residue that many other wipes do. WOTNOT wipes contain all natural ingredients including certified organic aloe vera, almond oil, rosehip oil, Vitamin E and jojoba - all ideal ingredients for sensitive areas like the face. They are also 100% biodegradable.
When I first received my package of wipes, I was immediately impressed by the simple packaging. I'm all for a bit of bling, but who needs it on a packet of facial wipes? Once I opened the packet and took out my first wipe, I noticed the first big difference between the WOTNOT wipes and just about every other brand I have tried. The texture of the wipe is very different. To be honest, the WOTNOT wipes felt like they would be a lot flimsier than those tough as guts wipes that do.not.rip. However, I gave WOTNOT the ultimate test. I pulled with all my might, and only after significant effort did the towel start to tear. Very impressive!
The next big difference was how the wipe felt on my skin. They felt gentle and soothing, not at all clinical or sticky. I find with many other brands of wipes that my face is left with a yucky residue from the wipe, which I immediately feel the need to get up and wash off. The whole point of a facial wipe to me, is that they are for convenience. If you are out somewhere, say the gym, and need to wipe your make-up off in a hurry, the WOTNOT wipes are perfect. They cleanse your skin and do not leave your skin feeling like it's covered in product.
The biggest test for me was to see how my sensitive skin reacted to these sensitive skin wipes. Well, let me tell you, they are definitely formulated for those of us requiring a gentler touch. I had absolutely no problems in terms of bad reactions or break-outs after using the WOTNOT wipes. They are gentle enough that they will not cause your skin to freak out, but they are strong enough to remove all your make-up in a few swift swipes.
Overall, I am a true WOTNOT convert. Having not heard much about the brand when I was approached to review their product, I was a little skeptical. However, since trialling the wipes, I have noticed the brand popping up more and more. It's funny how you never notice things until you have tried them for yourself!
I highly recommend this product to all of you, my dear readers, especially if you are looking for a fast, effective way to remove make-up, without feeling like your skin is covered make-up remover!
If you don't trust me, Aussie celebs such as Jodhi Meares, Erika Heynatz and Toni Pearon are all huge WOTNOT fans. Here's what they have to say...
“Constant travelling makes wotnot facial wipes a perfect staple in my bag. I have sensitive skin so being all natural is very important for me.” Jodhi Meares
“Loved the wotnot makeup wipes … they’ve been an absolute Godsend this week when I've been rushing between jobs and needing a fast switch of makeup. They really are super-efficient at removing many inches of camera makeup and they don't irritate at all - no residue left on the skin which is brilliant as well.” Erika Heynatz
“I really love the Wotnot products. I've just started using the Wotnot facial wipes and they are fantastic. Perfect for a busy new mum!” Toni Pearon
The WOTNOT wipes were also the Bronze award winner in Beauty category at the 2010 Organic Expo and Green Show.
So what are you waiting for lovelies? Pick up a packet of these lovely wipes at select health stores and pharmacies across Australia or head to the Eco Direct website. The wipes retail for $11.95 for a pack of 25.

Trixan Body...Your One Stop Shop For The Perfect Swimsuit + Exclusive Offer!
Dear readers,
You may have seen my Tweets about my recent swimsuit purchase from online emporium Trixan Body. Well, in case you didn't, I'll tell you about my experience.
Trixan Body is an online store for swimwear, lingerie, shapewear, underwear and activewear and is based not only in Australia, but has US and UK sites as well.
The site is very easy to look at, with separate sections for women, men, boys, girls and babies, making the online shopping experience more convenient for customers. Once I clicked on the women's tab, I was able to narrow my search to swimwear (as I was, first and foremost, looking for a summer swimsuit), then I was even able to narrow my search further to look at different swimwear brands or styles (or both).
I knew exactly what I was looking for, a flattering one-piece that didn't scrimp on style. With many brands to choose from including Jets, Bond-Eye, Speedo, Baku, Miraclesuit, Seafolly and many others, there is something for everyone. I have purchased Seafolly swimsuits before, so I narrowed my search to 'Seafolly + One Piece Swimsuits' and was given 50 different styles to choose from. I ended up choosing the gorgeous Azzure one piece in the colour 'poppy'.
The site not only gives multiple photos of each swimsuit, customers are also able to use the zoom feature plus watch video footage of each swimsuit being modelled on a runway.
Still not convinced about buying a swimsuit online? Well fear not, as Trixan Body offers free shipping and free returns! That was all I needed to know before hitting the purchase button. On top of this, they have a 125% price match guarantee. In other words, if you find the same item cheaper elsewhere, they will beat the price!
For many people, there is just no time to go swimwear shopping, but I logged on during my lunch break at work, had a browse, then made my purchase. After work the next day, I was very surprised to see a big package at my doorstep containing my beautiful new swimsuit. Yes, that's right, it arrived the very next day! (Mind you, I do live in Sydney, so it may take longer if you live interstate or overseas).
I have only good things to say about the Trixan Body website. Check out some of the footage from the recent swimwear fashion show held in Sydney to get a better idea of some of the styles available online.
To celebrate my love for the Trixan Body website, I am offering my lovely readers a discount of $10 for every purchase of $100 or more spent on the site. The best part? This offer is multi-use, so you can make multiple purchases and still get the $10 off each purhcase!
All you have to do is enter the code TBBCJ at checkout. This offer is valid until Christmas Day (December 25th, in case you don't know!), so get in quick lovelies!!
Happy shopping!

Miley Cyrus Caught Smoking A Bong On Camera!
Well, are we really that surprised?
Miley Cyrus, who only recently turned 18, has been caught on camera smoking what sources are calling a natural herb called 'salvia', which has psychedelic qualities.
Whatever it is, this video (which TMZ has exclusively acquired) is definitely going to cause a lot of controversy for the star. That being said, I think she craves the drama and attention.
She's a bad girl y'all!
